The Fusion Art process begins when Liv shoots, edits, & prints her images. Each image is printed on archival canvas using pigment inks. These canvases are considered Giclee or museum quality. They are coated for waterproofing. Canvases are stretched onto 1½ inch deep stretcher bars to produce impressive Gallery Wrapped Canvases.
Next Liv combs through hundreds of images she has shot on location to find 2 or 3 that will work together, making sure that each image in the group is good enough to stand alone.  Ron's input is needed at this point, for he must create the original painting that pulls Liv's single  images together.  If the images past that test,  Liv prints the gallery wrap photography canvases.  She also prints the photographic image alone for Ron to use as a template; for color matching, placement, horizon lines, etc.  When Ron and Liv are ready to design a new piece of Fusion Art, they begin with blank shapes to arrange the desired configuration and overall look of the piece of art. Then it is up to Ron to bring their collaborative vision to life. After Ron and Liv are satisfied that the Fusion piece is complete, the paintings are coated for waterproofing and Ron assembles all the canvases into one secure unit using 2½ inch screws.
After forty years of marriage and thirty years in the art business, this adventurous couple has traveled around our amazingly picturesque country photographing and painting the wonders they have seen. After many requests from their patrons, these two award winning, professional artists have brought their artwork together. The result of this collaboration has created a unique Fusion of painting and photography that is both inspiring and beautiful.
